Cotswold Way: Luxury Walking Short Break
And relax… This four-day self-guided walking trip to the northern Cotswolds takes things nice and slow. You’ll stay in the old coaching village of Broadway, home to medieval almshouses and some truly splendid hotels, where you can sink into dreamy beds, curl up by log fires, de-stress in the spa and make easy forays into the surrounding countryside.
From your Broadway base, head out on a handful of easy strolls, designed with inside knowledge to showcase the best of the region. Using scenic sections of the Cotswold Way and other trails, meander between golden-hued villages and rippling green hills, call in at a castle visited by Tudor queens, ride to a medieval abbey by heritage steam railway and indulge in unhurried pub lunches at characterful inns.
Based in the beautiful village of Broadway, spend four days in the northern Cotswolds, combining gentle, scenic walks along parts of the Cotswold Way, with lovely long lunches, historic sites, a steam train ride and plenty of down-time for relaxing in your luxurious hotel.
