In due course, the Seacombe Ferry terminal will be the start of the England Coast Path stretch around the Wirral, linked to Liverpool's Pier Head by the Mersey Ferry. In the meantime walkers wishing to continue their journey around the Wirral can do so using the ferry and the Wirral Circular Trail - if neither the ferry or replacement bus are operating, use the train between Liverpool's James St station to Birkenhead's Hamilton Square station. There are toilets inside the terminal, with further services expected once the recent refurbishment is complete.
