We walked the Offa's Dyke Path South to North in about 15 days, doing it in 3 & 4 day trips, and walking the northern part in day walks as we live close by. We walked in all sorts of weather, from hail, rain, high winds and glorious sunshine. We walked in spring, summer and late autumn and really enjoyed seeing the landscapes change along with the seasons. We used public transport to get to access point along the trail, which mostly worked well, and we've stayed in some great pubs and B&Bs along the way. Also enjoyed meeting some interesting fellow walkers on the trail. This was our first long distance walk, but hopefully it won't be our last - we've already started the North Wales coast path!
