I walked the path from south to north in eight days in September.I camped for a few nights and BnB'ed for the rest. The weather was really mixed, from hot sunshine (I got a tan!) to pouring rain that lasted all day. I did the walk alone, as a bit of a personal challenge and self-discovery. I was joined by my dad for a the final few days, who brought cake and dad-jokes which kept me going. I met lots of friendly walkers, had a chat with trail officer Rob when passing through Four Crosses, and all the farmers whose doors I knocked on were more than happy to fill up water bottles too. It was tough going, but the stunning views were more than worth it. A truly amazing experience. I'm looking forward to deciding which trail to do next!
