I trekked the offa's dyke national trail on May 14th, it took me 12 days to complete. I camped as well as stay in bed and breakfast. It was a great experience, the landscape was breathtaking and forever changing, the people were very hospitable and met some amazing walkers along the route. It was challanging espically on the switch backs and the black mountains, but the rewards are plenty.I walked the trail to raise money for the british heart foundation and the wiltshire air ambulance in memory of my late father. He wanted to walk the Offa's dyke, so i decided to walk it for him. And in doing so raised a total of £1644.75.Walking the Offa's Dyke National trail was truely an amazing adventure and an experience I would highly recomend!
