Join our wonderful day of walking and explore the Wold Rangers Way and Yorkshire Wolds Way around Thixendale, arguably one of the most picturesque areas along the trails. Enjoy wonderful views, through dry dales and country lanes, with the opportunity to enjoy your packed lunch at the village hall, where you can enjoy a cuppa, chat to WRW and YWW staff and plan your next walk.
This walk is approximately 10-miles long and is a figure of eight style walk (two circular loops of approx. 4-miles and 6-miles each) taking walkers through a mixture of tracks, green lanes and footpaths. The first loop will be completed in the morning arriving back at Thixendale where the village hall will be open for you to eat your packed lunch (can be left in the hall if you wish). The afternoon will complete the second loop finishing again in Thixendale.
