Enjoy the peace and quiet of the Cornish countryside and the freedom of choice with no restricted pitch sizee. Penrose Campsite is open July and August only and offers two wooden toilet blocks with free hot showers, plus an outside shower for washing down wetsuits and sandy toes! There is a separate area for washing up dishes. Literally five minutes from the South West Coast path, it makes this site an ideal stop off point for walkers. Nearest pubs, shops, restaurants, POst Office and laundrette are located within walking distance in the fishing village of Porthleven. Dogs are welcome but please note dog bans on certain beaches from Easter to 1st October 7am to 7pm. Campfires are allowed. There is a freezer available to re-freeze ice packs.
