The Old Farmhouse, which dates back to the 18th century, is full of charm and character, retaining many of its original period features including beams, flagstone flooring and an impressive fireplace. This holiday property adjoins the owner’s home at Roystone Grange, which sits in its own peaceful valley between the popular market towns of Buxton, Ashbourne, Matlock and Bakewell in the Peak District National Park. Shop and pub 1½ miles, restaurant 8 miles.

Kitchen: With breakfast area, Aga (feature only), electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and tiled floor.

There are 11 steps and a pond in the garden, 20 yards away.
