In the 17th century, Dormy House went by the name Willersey Hill Farm, and its inhabitants, rather than enjoying fantastic food and indulgent spa treatments, spent most of their time cultivating the surrounding land. Fast forward to the 1940s, and the Broadway Golf Club next door took a shine to the farm, bought it and named it Dormy House after their favourite golfing term (a ‘dormy’ is an unbeatable round).
In 1977 it passed to the same family that has owned it ever since, and over the last 35 years has grown to become one of the most beloved hotels in the Cotswolds, renowned for its personal service, passionate management and luxuriously laid-back atmosphere.
We have stunning Cotswold bedrooms for every mood. Whether you want to go traditional in the main farmhouse, private and secluded, super stylish, or rustic in Rose Cottage, there’s a room waiting for you.
Please note, all weekend bookings must include two nights: Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday.
We occasionally have some last-minute one-night availability!
