Walk the Wolds to Rebuild Challenge for the RSPCA

28th January 2020

Here's a great challenge for businesses and organisations.  The RSPCA Hull & East Riding have set up a Corporate Challenge for teams to walk the Yorkshire Wolds Way across three days from 15 to 17 May this year.

The event is a fund raiser for their £1 million campaign to rebuild and revive their 82 year old centre, so creating a home that their animals and community deserve.

Teams will walk the 79 miles of the Yorkshire Wolds Way and the RSPCA would love groups to carry to walk for 1 day, 2 days or compete the whole route.

Day 1, Friday 15 May is from Filey to Wharram Le Street (29 miles)

Day 2, Saturday 16 May is from Wharram Le Street to Market Weighton (25 miles)

Day 3, Sunday 17 May is from Market Weighton to Hessle (25 miles)

Businesses and organisations who join the challenge will need a £10 entry fee per head (and will get t-shirts, certificates and light refreshments along the way) and will need to raise £500 per team.  The RSPCA will also welcome any volunteers to assist with the challenge.

The closing date for entries is 6 March
