New opportunities to walk the Yorkshire Wolds Way again

B&Bs and campsites opening from July 4th

As Covid-19 lockdown measures continue to be eased in England the opportunity to walk and enjoy the Yorkshire Wolds Way will start again from 4th July.

Clearly it will remain important to follow social distancing and other guidelines to reduce any risks of transmission to yourself and to others.

At this stage we are uncertain of the number of accommodation providers who will be opening and have availability from 4 July, but you will find general accommodation details on this website, including the Accommodation and Information Guides for both B&Bs/Hotels and also for camping, which can be downloaded from our Leaflets Page

The Hessle Foreshore length between the Country Park Inn at Hessle and North Ferriby is currently closed and is expected to stay closed until January 2021.  This is to allow foreshore embankment works to take place that can protect the main rail line into Hull as well as the Yorkshire Wolds Way.

The alternative route passes through the Humber Bridge Country Park and then follows the pavement of some busy roads, taking you through to North Ferriby.
