Where does the England Coast Path go from here?

This section of the England Coast Path ends at Tarleton Lock up ahead (south) of this sign, after which there is no public right of way heading south down the canal. To continue through Tarleton, you can retrace your steps to here and take Sutton Avenue to the main road, Hesketh Lane.

What is the England Coast Path?

It’s a 2,700 mile walking route opening in stages around the country. Tarleton to Liverpool opened in 2023.
