Land's End to John O'Groats...via the Cotswold Way!

18th August 2015

Back in May, two couples finished their 112 day odyssey walking from one end of the country to the other.

Using holidays over the last four years, Lynne and Bob Whapples and Andy and Meg Pike took footpaths wherever possible to complete the journey in the following stages:

In July 2011  (3 weeks):   Land's End to Bath

October 2011  (1 week):   Bath to Chipping Campden (Cotswold Way)

July 2012  (3 weeks):   Chipping Campden to Malham Tarn

October 2012  (1 week):   Malham Tarn to Cow Green Reservoir

July 2013  (3 weeks):   Cow Green Reservoir to The Falkirk Wheel

May 2014  (3 weeks):   Falkirk Wheel to Tomatin

May 2015  (4 weeks):   Tomatin to John O'Groats

As well as taking in the Cotswold Way along the route, they also walked the Pennine Way and the West and East Highland Ways in their entirety. A fantastic effort, an enviable adventure and an inspiration to put our boots on and head out on the Trail…
