b-side Festival 2016

18 Sep 2016

General event

b-side Festival 2016.
10 - 18 September 2016.
9 days of an eclectic mix of visual art, text, sound, installation and live art.
1 amazing island.

b-side festival will be hosting a range of different walks, talks and tours during their biennial arts festival.
There's no better time to explore the South West Coast Path on the Isle of Portland than September.

b-side festival is an artist led multimedia arts festival bringing new art to unusual locations, held exclusively on the intriguing Isle of Portland. b-side creates conversations between artists, residents and producers, crafting new work that responds specifically to the island’s unique and endlessly evolving history, geology and character. We curate and programme work that can be found on footpaths, in living rooms, within prison walls, at bus stops, in churches and more traditionally, in galleries and theatres. Experience new work made especially for the festival: installations, performance, events, artists talks, workshops and more.

If you have never visited Portland then September is the time to make that first trip.
Come and discover Portland’s extraordinary landscape with b-side as your guide.

Prices: Most events and exhibitions are free. Please see full programme on our website from July 2016.
