The Thames Path forms part of the Three River Walk in Twickenham; the other two waterways are the Duke of Northumberland's River and the River Crane. The Three River Walk is an 8km circular walk. Download the Three River Walk guide from the website: www.force.org.uk/discover/three-river-walk/
The River Crane is now part of Crane Park and links to Hounslow Heath via the millstream for Hounslow Gunpowder Mills and tunnels under Feltham Marshalling Yards. Large ponds, planted with marginal wetland species, were excavated in Pevensey Road Nature Reserve. Water voles are resident in the open river channels.
