Cotswold Lavender near Snowshill grow their lavender as a crop – and just like any crop it has to be harvested – unfortunately when it’s at its peak! Harvest usually starts during the last week of July and continues until early August. In a typical English summer the lavender fields should start to come into flower mid June, with the best time to see them early-mid July but it can differ year to year with the weather.

You can visit during the Summer (check the website for opening times) to see the beautiful lavender and to visit the shop and tea room.

Camomile is also grown on the farm. It produces a sky blue oil used in many products and, along withe lavender, renowned for helping with peaceful sleep. The flowers are very popular as a herbal tea for good health and treatment of a range of ailments.

Dogs are very welcome at the lavender fields but visitors are asked to keep their dog on a lead and remember to clear up behind them.

Dogs are not permitted in the shop and tea room, but there is plenty of outside seating and water bowls.

Cotswold Lavender is easy to find in the outskirts of the village of Snowshill. Not far from the National Trust Property Snowshill Manor. Please check the website for opening details.
