Sea Dyke End, by road

King Charles the Third England Coast Path.

Welcome to Skinburness and Calvo Marshes.

The England Coast Path is a 2,700-mile National Trail opening in stages around the country.

Where can I walk?

On high tides or in stormy weather, use the suggested high tide route.

If you prefer to avoid cattle, use the high tide route from May to November.

What can I do on the England Coast Path?

Walk (or use off-road wheelchairs where terrain and infrastructure allow).

Watch birds and wildlife, from a safe distance.

Alongside an illustration of a golden retriever dog. Thank you for keeping me on a lead – it’s a legal requirement here to protect wildlife.

What is Coastal Access?

A new legal access right to walk on the England Coast Path and parts of its Coastal Margin. In some places, it replaces Open Access, like here. Restrictions may apply, so please follow instructions on signs.

Emergency? Call 999. Ask for the Coastguard. You are at grid ref NY137548.
