From Wednesday 28th July 2021 the Cleveland Way and England Coast Path at the eastern end of Mount Pleasant North, Robin Hood's Bay is being diverted inland due to coastal erosion. This short diversion takes users across Rocket Post Field and down an accessible ramp to join a short stretch of the Cinder Track as the route enters Robin Hood's Bay.
The new route will be fully signed, with temporary signage in the first instance whilst the new fingerposts are being constructed.
