Landlords Cindy and Steve and their staff at the Gin Trap Inn, offer a warm welcome to the pub.
Enjoy real ales and fine wines within the cosy atmosphere of the bar with a real log fire or, on sunny days, make the most of the pub’s beautiful walled garden – a real sun trap in the summer!
The Gin Trap is a 17th century coaching inn. It is so-called because, from the 1970s until just a few years ago, the pub was packed with old gin traps once used for capturing game. Today, ‘gin’ in the pub’s name simply refers to one of the many drinks available.
