I completed the walk in 11 days in April/May this year. Mostly camping, sometimes wild and with one stay at a Band B pub at Llanthony in the rain. Weather was mostly dry and good for walking; not too hot. The trail is very well looked after and waymarked and I enjoyed it a lot. I had done the walk years ago aged 16 with a couple of friends from school. We took 13 days then but carrying much heavier kit. Also lots of the old stiles have been replaced with gates, much easier now that I am 59!
