Walk for Parkinson’s Oxford

Join us for our ninth sponsored Walk for Parkinson’s - Oxford. Experience the Radcliffe Camera in its full glory, marvel in the wonderful architecture of the Bodleian Library and the Sheldonian Theatre, spot hidden Colleges, walk under the famous Bridge of Sighs and stroll across the peaceful Oxford University Parks. Start and finish: Cherwell School, Marston Ferry Road, Oxford OX2 7EE Minimum sponsorship: £50 suggested Registration fee: £10 for adults and £5 for under 16s in advance. £15 for adults and £7.50 under 16s on the day. Registration opens: 9.30am Start time: 4.5 and 8 mile routes will start at 10am, 1.5 mile route will start at 10:30am Route: 1.5 mile, 4.5 miles and 8 miles Toilets: Toilets are available at the start/finish point and public toilets are available on the routes. Car park: Free parking is available in the Cherwell School North Site car parks. Refreshments: Please ensure you bring a drink and snack/light lunch with you. There will be a light refreshment point on the 8 mile route only, at approximately the halfway point. Walk packs: which include your walk t-shirt and number will be sent out 2 weeks prior to the walk. ​Registration: Please note registration closes 1 week prior to the event. On the day registration will be available but will be cash only and will cost £15 for adults and £7.50 for under 16s. Friendly dogs on leads are welcome.
