Race to the Stones, a 100K Ultra-marathon is being put on by Threshold Sports along the UK's oldest trail towards the 5000-year-old Avebury Standing Stones. The route begins in Lewknor and takes into account historic and breathtaking scenery as participants travel along the Ridgeway and end in the ancient village of Avebury. The route includes a mix of woodland, riverside and ridge trails and participants can choose whether to run or walk either the 100Km Route or one of the two 50Km Routes. Race to the Stones is a 2 day event, testing endurance but ensuring an unforgettable experience.
