The custom route elevation is created when you use the distance calculator (above) to draw a line.

Join us to take a look at the magical cottongrass with its bibbing seed heads that cover parts of the NNR at this time of year. We’ll walk along the Easy Access trail to the area that has been milled for peat in the past and has raised bunds to walk along and take a look at the habitat and the plant species out there. We’ll pass by the remains of a Second World War Wellington bomber and you can find out about this wreck and the crew that were in it at the time it crashed into the bog during the war. Walk is at a comfortable pace to enjoy the experience and over easy flat ground.
