Grab your Nordic walking poles and explore the Ridgeway National Trail and the Chilterns escarpment in Oxfordshire. Our 8 mile Nordic walk walk starts in the historic village of Lewknor and takes us in the footsteps of ancient wayfarers along the Icknield Way/Ridgeway. We then climb Shirburn Hill to Cowleaze Wood and the Aston Rowant NNR (total ascent 800ft/245m). Finally, we then descend Bald Hill and return to Lewknor. This is a fantastic walk for panoramic views, wild flowers (orchids) and butterflies!

Who is it for?  This walk is ideal for Nordic walkers with a reasonable level of walking experience and fitness.  Fit non Norodic walkers are also welcome.

Can I bring my dog?  Sorry, dogs are not permitted on this walk.

Please see www.pipstickswalks.co.uk for further details about this walk.  Booking essential.
