Wicken View is an 1840's Former Farmhouse situated 1 1/2 miles north of the historic village of Castle Acre which offers a village green, the remains of the 12th Century Priory & Castle, a fine church and local shops, it is also situated 100yds from the ancient Roman Road of Peddars Way making it a great stop off for anyone walking all or part of the wonderful pathway.
It is within easy access to all of the North Norfolk coastal resorts, which have miles and miles of sandy beaches, some having the best bird watching in the country. There are also many places of interest including Sandringham, Oxburgh Hall, Holkham Hall, Houghton Hall, Blickling Hall and theThursford Museum and more medieval Churches than any other area in Europe
The larger centre of Kings Lynn with its Port and Medieval Centre is also close by as are the lovely towns of Holt and Burnham Market for the discerning shopper. The cathedral city of Norwich with endless attractions is a 45 minute drive. Good pubs and restaurants are within easy driving distance.
