St Dunstan's dates from the 11th century and is a grade I listed building. It was restored in 1878-80 by church architect Ewan Christian.
Its association with the deaths of Thomas Becket and Thomas More make it a place of pilgrimage. Both were Chancellors of England, friends with a King Henry, martyred for their beliefs and canonised.
The church can be viewed externally at all times and is normally open during daylight hours.
