New information panels on Pembrokeshire Coast Path

20th August 2013

Three walking information panels have been launched which will provide visitors and walkers with information about the Pembrokeshire Coast Path National Trail, part of the 870 mile Wales Coast Path, and other public paths maintained by the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority.

The panels were developed by Llwybrau Llandudoch, St Dogmaels Footpath Association with assistance from the European Regional Development Fund through the Welsh Government and the National Park Authority to promote the first anniversary of the Wales Coast Path.

The National Park Authority’s Access Manager Anthony Richards said: “The panels highlight some great circular walks in North Pembrokeshire, ranging from a mile upwards from Poppit Sands and St Dogmaels, taking in Cemaes Head and Ceibwr Bay on the coast.

The local community must be thanked for the huge amount of work that has gone into the creation of these very comprehensive panels by Llwybrau Llandudoch, pulling together a huge wealth of information about the area which will be of great benefit to residents and visitors alike.”

The three panels can be viewed in Poppit car park, St Dogmaels car park and in Cardigan at Gilfach Penbont.
