Yorkshire Wolds Way is Highly Commended in Remarkable Visitor Attraction Awards

14th March 2014

We know what a fantastic experience walking on the Yorkshire Wolds Way can be.  The great news is that this has been officially recognised by the Tourism Industry as the National Trail gained a Highly Commended Award in the prestigious annual  REYTA Awards held at The Spa, Bridlington on March 13th.

The award came in the Remarkable Visitor Attraction Category.  It recognised what a superb overall experience walking the Yorkshire Wolds Way can offer from the landscapes through which it travels to the great pubs, cafes and B&Bs on the way.

Talking of pubs - two of our Yorkshire Wolds Way pubs were in the finals of the Remarkable Pub entry,  The Goodmanham Arms at Goodmanham and The Triton Arms at Brantingham, with The Triton Arms winning best pub.  This fantastic result shows what a superb time lies ahead for walking on the Yorkshire Wolds Way who call in at our local hostelries.
