Temporary reopening of the Hessle Foreshore length

12th April 2019

The foreshore length between the Country Park Inn at Hessle and North Ferriby has been temporarily re-opened, whilst engineers design the next stage of reinforcements needed for the embankment.  As of 12 April 2019 we understand that it will be open for at least a month, possibly 2 months, but the engineers cannot give us precise timings at this stage.  When it is closed again, this will be a major piece of reinforcement work and the section is then likely to be closed for at least 12 months.  We will keep updating walkers on the state of play through the website.
