Temporary closure of Yorkshire Wolds Way on Humber Foreshore

26th May 2016

The Yorkshire Wolds Way is still closed on the Humber Foreshore section between the Humber Bridge and North Ferriby, due to essential maintenance works to the river embankment by Network Rail.  The start of these works has been delayed, but is now expected to take place from 30th May. Works are likely to last through June and possibly July 2016 and we will keep the website updated to let people know when it has been reopened.

We recommend that long distance walkers visit the Humber Bridge area, to see the incredible structure, then jump on a bus or train to North Ferriby to start the Yorkshire Wolds Way from there.
