See our "Secret Art" Project on Countryfile

3rd August 2018

This Sunday 5th August at 6.15pm our very own "Secret Art" Project features on BBC Countryfile and we are very excited about it!  Secret Art uses a free app called Sprytar to reveal trails along the Yorkshire Wolds Way where walkers can discover artworks and poetry inspired by the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds landscape.  It is great, it is fun and it is free!

In this East Yorkshire based edition of Countryfile there is also a feature on the Poetry Points, all part of the Secret Art project, with presenter Margherita Taylor and Vicky Thompson, who discuss the joy of the Poetry Points.  The programme also catches up with poet Ian McMillan, who contributed a poem to Secret Art and Rose Horspool, a wonderful artist and co-ordinator of the East Riding Artists group.

You can try Secret Art for yourself by heading to the dedicated website for more details.

The Secret Art project has been brought together through a partnership approach of the Yorkshire Wolds Way, Wolds Edge Holiday Lodges, Visit Hull and East Yorkshire, East Riding Artists, Walk Unlimited and Sprytar.
