New BBC Programme on the Yorkshire Wolds Way

9th January 2017

We are delighted that the BBC has chosen to cover our wonderful trail with a 2 part series following the journey of adventurer Paul Rose.

The programmes will first be shown in the BBC1 Yorkshire Regions  covering Leeds and Hull areas on Friday 13th Jan and Friday 20th Jan at 7.30 pm.  At the end of February or early March the programmes will be transmitted nationally on BBC2.

In Epsiode 1  Paul takes in the views of the Yorkshire Wolds from the top of the Humber Bridge, learns to ride a penny farthing and searches out the spots made internationally famous by the artist David Hockney.

In Episode 2  Paul takes to the skies to get a unique view of this stretch of chalk downland and gets a special invitation to a military base that's been keeping the country safe since the start of the Second World War.

Be sure to tune in, it will be very inspiring!
