A Humber and Yorkshire Wolds Wildlife Discovery

Heres a great day out suggested by the Yorkshire Nature Triangle team.

Enjoy a combination of countryside walks and wildlife watching on this family day out.  Avocets, dragonflies and butterflies are firm favourites at North Cave Wetlands nature reserve, whilst the peaceful dales of the Yorkshire Wolds Way at Welton are a perfect background for a mornings exploring.  

Start your wild day out with a visit to Humber Bridge Country Park wher eyou can hire the Welton Wildlife Corridor Tracker Pack.  It's a short hop to Welton to enjoy this trail with lots of fun activites from the pack.

In the afternoon head for the North Cave Wetlands, a popular nature reserve with four viewing hides.  The reserve is run by the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust.
