Manor Farm Cottages
Manor Farm Cottages, Goodmanham, York, East Riding of Yorkshire YO43 3JA, UK
Tel: 01430873510

Deep in the heart of rural East Yorkshire, Manor Farm Cottages are two beautiful retreats nestled in Goodmanham village at the foot of the rolling Yorkshire Wolds.

The Cottage offers a cosy retreat with a lovely living area, separate kitchen and house bathroom along with two spacious bedrooms which are offered as either twin or double rooms. It boasts spectacular views and has its own private secure garden and barbeque area.

The Stables offers a spacious living area with kitchen, dining and sitting area all open plan. It has 3 bedrooms (one en-suite) along with a house bathroom and wet room (ideal when coming in from a muddy day exploring the Wolds Way!). As with The Cottage it enjoys incredible views over the Yorkshire Wolds and its own private secure garden and barbeque area.

Both properties have plenty of off street parking and we also offer secure lock up for bicycles.

Your host during your stay at Manor Farm Cottages is Liz, a farmer’s wife whose sole aim is to ensure your stay is as relaxing and enjoyable as possible! From providing you with essentials such as bread and milk on arrival through to advice on the local area, Liz is happy to help as and when needed but of course appreciates your privacy!

Manor Farm Cottages sit in the middle of the sleepy village of Goodmanham. The history of the village dates back to the stone age, and although things have changed over the years, it remains as tranquil and unspoilt as it has for centuries. The heart of the village is the Goodmanham Arms, which is a friendly, traditional pub offering local beers and live music. It’s also a great place to meet the locals and sample a taste of village life.

One of the things you’ll notice about Goodmanham is its lack of shops, and this helps give it a peaceful and untouched feel. But that doesn’t mean that you’re in the middle of nowhere.

The town of Market Weighton is just over a mile away, and here you’ll find all the amenities you could possibly need, including supermarkets, shops, restaurants, takeaways, bars and pubs.

If you fancy venturing out of Goodmanham, the Yorkshire Wolds Way, that boasts 79 miles of trails through some of the most beautiful countryside around passes by the front of the farmhouse. The Wilberforce Way (previously known as the Hudson Way) is also nearby and there are plenty of other local tracks and trails to explore.

When it comes to cycling, whether road riding, touring or mountain biking is your thing, with hundreds of miles of rolling hills, quiet country roads and trails on our doorstep, Manor Farm Cottages are perfect for cyclists of all levels and abilities.

If you want to get out and explore some of Yorkshire’s best attractions, Manor Farm Cottages are really well situated in the heart of the action. There are plenty of things to see and do, some quite nearby and some a little further afield. Goodmanham is only 8 miles from Pocklington & 10 miles from Beverley both interesting East Riding market towns. Hull & York are both around 20 miles away.

We very much look forward to welcoming you to Manor Farm Cottages!
