Chilterns Walking Festival:  Explore the Thames by boat and foot 3.00 – 4.30pm
A special event offered as part of the Chilterns Walking Festival, combining cruising and gentle walking along the River Thames. Embark the Hobbs of Henley passenger boat at Henley Riverside at 3.00pm for a 30 minute cruise to Hambleden lock, along the famous Henley International Regatta course. You will disembark at Hambleden Lock and be met by an expert guide for the 1-hour (2 mile) walk back along the Thames Path National Trail. This is a beautiful stretch of the River Thames, with much historic interest and wonderful views of the wooded Chiltern hills.

Tuesday 23rd May: Your walking guide will be Dr Richard Mayon-White, author of ‘Exploring the Thames Wilderness’ who will point out the many sights, stories and wildlife along the way.

Please note: Meet at Hobbs of Henley from pier 2 to embark ready to leave by 3.00pm
