A view across the river from the Thames Path

Join the Thames Path National Trail 20th Anniversary Walking Relay

13th May 2016

Have you booked your place on a walk along the Thames Path as part of the Thames Path 20th Anniversary celebrations? The Ramblers will lead a series of walks along the entire length of the Thames Path and its extension -starting on Saturday 9 until Sunday 24 July. Walkers can book directly onto one or more days rambling along the Thames - for free. Each walk starts where the previous day finishes.

To join a free walk you need to book online via Eventbrite and you’ll receive a ticket to bring along on the day. If you'd like to come along we're encouraging you to book soon as there's a limit of  50 walkers a day outside London and 100 inside London (200 for the final day).

As well as members of the Thames Path Partnership such as The River Thames Society and National Trail Volunteers, representatives from supporting organisations such as The Young Farmers are set to join in - alongside individuals from local communities along the route.

Join in this historic ramble along the Thames Path! We reckon that twenty years of enjoyment whether for recreation, health, leisure or for commuting, is certainly worth celebrating!
