Update on the flooding at Exton

26th March 2015

The footpath route of the South Downs Way that heads eastward out of Exton village is still flooded to a depth of 20cm in one section (next to A32) and very muddy. If you have high welligton boots you may get through, however we suggest that everyone uses the riders' route out of Exton which runs up Stocks Lane and then along the disused railway before climbing up towards Old Winchester Hill. It is likely that this section will remain muddy and partly flooded up until the end of April.
