Cyclists and riders route in Meon Valley, Hampshire flooded

A short section of the Cyclists & horse-riders route in the Meon Valley is flooded. The section is under the old railway line bridge (Meon Vally Trail) at Stocks Lane in meonstoke is under water.

The tarmac road is under approximately 8" or 20cm of water. It is passable on bike and horseback, but walkers are advised to avoid this route as the water will be well above ankle height!

The walkers route between Exton and the Meon Valley Trail is dry and in good condition but is open to walkers only.

It is likely that this standing water will remain for most of the winter.
