ROSE BARN, in East Harting, is a pretty nineteenth century cottage nestling at the foot of the South Downs in the centre of the South Downs National Park, with lovely views across farmland towards the scarp slope of the Downs. This charming cottage set in an acre of attractive gardens, enjoys a tranquil and unspoilt setting, but is just a mile from South Harting, while Petersfield is 5, Midhurst 6 and Chichester 8 miles away.

Rose Barn is very well situated for a short country break, and there are a variety of places to visit within easy reach.  It is a good area for walkers and cyclists who are welcome.  The South Downs Way is easily accessed by a footpath which runs from opposite the house, up to Harting Down, owned and managed by the National Trust.  Evening meals can be taken in South Harting where there is a pub.  Packed lunches available if ordered in advance.

Accommodation comprises one double bedded room with en suite shower and toilet, and has its own front door.  A full English breakfast is included, if required and is served in the main house, freshly cooked to order.  Eggs are supplied by our own free range hens, (when in the mood! ) and special diets can be catered for.  There is off road parking.
