A thirst for the Pennine Way

24th June 2015

During 2015 in honour of the Pennine Way the Pennine Brewing Company are creating a range of handcrafted ales.

The 18 barrel microbrewery based in Well near Masham brews three times a week and so far have launched two Pennine Way beers with another due in July.

Pennine Way Jubilee Ale came out in April to celebrate the Trail's 50th anniversary but has proven to be so popular they're going to continue brewing it until at least September.

May's beer was Kinder Scout and July's is Pennine Challenge - a blonde beer brewed to celebrate the Trail and the challenge it brings. September will see High Cup IPA and in November it will be Black Fell porter brewed to celebrate the amazing views from the top of Black Hill.

The beers are available in pubs in Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Durham, Teesside, Tyne and Wear, Cumbria and Lancashire. It’s a good thing walking is thirsty work!

You can find out more about the brewery on their website.
