The best of the Peak District from south to north in 2 STAGES through tree lined vales, high moors, plateau, famous peaks and grit stone edges, in winter season conditions. Mixed navigation challenges and adventure for racers. The route runs through the inspiring White and Dark Peak District over classic trails, including The Pennine Way. Pre-race briefings, followed by pasta and pizza party at our race HQ to help you start this friendly and sociable race, fueled with energy and prepared.

STAGE 1: Saturday 24 November 2018 - WHITE PEAK TRAILS 50km

STAGE 2: Sunday 25 November 2018 - DARK PEAK CHALLENGE 43km

There a 3 choices of run: Stage 1 only, Stage 2 only, or the full Peak District traverse from South 2 North.

  • Checkpoint team at road heads, hill top locations and at HQ
  • Navigation guide notes
  • Tea/Coffee/ Soft drinks
  • Pasta and pizza for racers.
  • Finishers Medals.
  • Trohpies for 1st Male and 1st Female, fastest racers for each individual stage and overall win.
  • Coach transport from Edake HQ to Stage 1 start in Ashbourne
  • Taxi mini-bus share arranged (bookable at cost) from Marsden finish back to Edale

The race is organised by local Mountain Leaders, who live and work in the Peak District. The Peak District fuels our passion for the outdoors and we love to share its superb and varied scenery.
