Nestling at the base of Byrness Hill and directly on the Pennine Way, on the edge of the village, The Byrness Hotel is a great place to relax after a long days walk. Toast your toes by our huge log fire and enjoy a cup of tea or coffeee from our speciality range or choose from our extensive collection of malt whiskies and real ales. Choose from a range of beautifully home cooked meals accompanied by our own fruit and vegetables whenever possible. Our own eggs and honey are also used in the kitchen. Vegetatrians and other dietary requirements can be catered for . We are fully licensed with two beer gardens. Set in 5 acres of private land, the building itself is a former C17th farmhouse and has a wealth of original features as well as moremodern additions, a lovely ensuite bathroom with large bath, upgraded showers and a new drying room.
