Help support the Pembrokeshire Coast’s award-winning footpaths and landscape with the new Sponsor a Gate scheme

5th June 2018

If you enjoy walking in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and would like to support the hard work that goes into maintaining this world-class landscape, you can now help by donating via the new Sponsor a Gate scheme.

The income generated by the scheme, which will see personalised plaques placed on gates along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path National Trail, will support the National Park Authority’s work to maintain the 186-mile Path and the wider National Park.

The Park Authority’s External Fundraising Manager, Nichola Couceiro said: “Each sponsored gate will include a personalised plaque, giving you the option to dedicate a gate in memory of a loved one, as a gift to someone special, through your company or even in your own name.

“There are over 100 gates along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path National Trail available for sponsorship, meaning there are plenty of potential locations to choose from.”

Each gate costs £600 to sponsor, with sponsorship running for a ten-year period. Payment can be made by cheque or via debit/credit card, by calling the National Park Authority’s Customer Services Team on 01646 624800.
