Close to the sea yet  in the heart of quiet countryside Cuffern Manor is an award winning guest house.  Built in 1770 it served as a private house for the Stokes family, whose most famous member was Admiral John Lort Stokes,  he shared Darwin's cabin on the Beagle when he was 19 and later captained the  ship and others around Australia/New Zealand. The current owners have been here since 2004 and have updated the whole house and added two self catering cottages. The walled garden provides abundant fresh fruit and vegetables. Awarded an International Green Key certification in 2015 for its environmental policy the guest house was the first in Wales to be run on biomass fuel.  Trip Adviser certificates of excellence for several years have been awarded by guests may of whom return again and again.

The guest house is very accessible to all  with no steps, a lift to guest rooms and accessible showers and toilets.

We pride ourselves on using the best local food suppliers, as much organic food as possible and catering for special diets, such a vegatarian, and vegan.
