Work continues on the Norfolk Coast Path to repair the floodbanks.

24th September 2014

The Environment Agency (EA) advise us that the Blakeney East bank is going very well with a temporary path alongside for walkers. We hope this will be completed in the next 6 weeks

In addition work will begin to finish off the Cley East bank w/c 6th October, for up to 2 weeks. Walkers will be able to use the Beach rd. alongside to access the beach.

There will also be a small project to work on the Stiffkey Outfall (West of Morston) w/c 29th September. Again this will be up to 2 weeks and the EA will ensure an access path around the work area.

Please be aware of these work areas if you are in the vicinity and adhere to safety requests. We appreciate and are working together with the EA to maintain flood defence and improve access for walkers of the Norfolk Coast Path.
