Chepstow Walking Festival 2015

 The Chepstow Walking Festival starts today ( 9th April ) and runs through to sunday 12th April.Your starting point for walking in Wales and the Wye Valley

Included in our fantastic programme of 22 walks you could be sampling your first delicious cream tea of the season, visiting the beautiful gardens and Grotto's at Dewstow gardens, a walk through the beautiful landscape of Penhein with far reaching views to Somerset, or a fascinating look around the Hudnalls with it's intriguing history and scattered dwellings. If you really want to stretch your legs, walk the first part of the Gloucestershire Way from Parkend to Chepstow with transport provided. Walks are led by experienced local leaders and guides showcasing this beautiful landscape and its' rich heritage.

Evening events include a fascinating talk on Forgotten Wales from the walkers perspective and a dusk to night walk followed by stargazing at Trellech Beacon.

Ticket price includes car parking in Chepstow and transport from start/finish points where applicable.

There will be a choice of tickets options. £5 to take part in one walk or £10 to join as many walks as you wish. No charge for the Walk for life walk or children under 16 yrs,

If you aren't busy do try and come along to the Welcome event at Beaufort Square, Chepstow 10.30 am Saturday 11th April 2015.  The popular Singing Group of Chepstow will be there for a good old sing song and there is a surprise visitor!
