North Downs Way & Pilgrims Tracks

The North Downs Way follows closely pilgrim tracks from Winchester to Canterbury where it picks up the Via Francigena across Europe to Rome. With such strong links to religion and spirituality it’s not surprising the trail passes a number of ancient churches, a World Heritage Site, sculptures and landmarks that help tell the story of the trails’ historic and cultural significance.
