Surface improvements above Buriton village, Hampshire - Commencing Monday 2nd October until Wednesday 4th October

29th September 2017

A short section of the South Downs Way between Deans Barn and Coulters Dean barn (above Buriton Village) has become very rutted with some large, deep puddles making it difficult for anyone to pass without getting their feet wet.

Surface improvement work will begin on Monday 2nd October and will hopefully be completed by the end of Wednesday 4th October. The trail will remain open to the public, yet unfortunately horse-drawn carriages and motorised vehicles will not be permitted to use this section during the work.
