This fantastic property was once home to Lord Nuffield, the wealthy philanthropist who founded the Morris Motor Company in the 20th century. The house has been carefully preserved and still contains the original decor and personal possessions, along with other interesting features such as a hidden workshop in the bedroom. There is a car park and tea room at the property, and various events take place throughout the year (see the National Trust website for details).
