Iffley Meadows lie beside the Thames Path between Donnington Bridge and Iffley Lock. This meadow, owned by the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust, is one of the places where you can find fritillaries growing in the wild.  These beautiful flowers, which have a snakeskin pattern on the petals, bloom in late April and May. Many of the flowers are purple, but a few are white. You can look for them all over the meadow, and then when you see one, you'll find more.
